The Challenge
GreenLeaf Co., a sustainable products retailer, was struggling with high bounce rates and low conversion among first-time visitors. The existing platform was visually dated, lacked clear navigation for their diverse product range, and didn't effectively communicate the brand's core mission of eco-responsibility. Key issues included:
Confusing product categorization and filtering options.
Slow load times, especially on mobile devices.
Lack of storytelling around product sourcing and impact.
Inconsistent visual hierarchy and weak call-to-action placement.

A refined product taxonomy, along with a powerful faceted search, reduced the time-to-purchase. We also implemented a new, lightweight image loading strategy to boost performance.
