The Challenge
MindFlow wanted to launch a subscription-based app to help users establish and maintain daily mindfulness habits. The biggest hurdle was the high drop-off rate typically seen in health apps after the first week. Users needed a sense of progress and personalized content without feeling overwhelmed. The challenge was to design a system that was calming, non-judgmental, and highly adaptable to individual mood and schedule.

The Solution
We focused on a gamified onboarding experience and a dynamic daily check-in feature that adjusts content recommendations (meditations, journaling prompts, sleep stories) based on the user's reported mood. We designed a clean, soft UI with custom illustrations to evoke a feeling of calm. The "Progress Tree" visualization provided a clear, non-stressful view of habit streaks, encouraging daily return without relying on aggressive push notifications.
